This is an album about disappearance and perseverance. It starts with everything going away and ends with a comeback--although you can easily switch the order if you're feeling pessimistic. In between are subterranean gardens, hellish commutes, disappearing venues, neglected dog walks *and more* all from your favourite, albeit highly cursed, garage pop trio.

Also: this garden has been a long time growing. Writing for it started after Tank in 2018, and these songs were fully formed and road tested pre-pandemic. We even got half the recording done in early 2020, tracking guitars while Rudy Gobert was touching all the microphones at his Patient Zero press conference. That said, we think the album has passed this test of time--despite how long it took us to finish it, it still feels fresh and exciting to the three people who have lived with it and worked on it the most.

And it couldn't have been made without the help and generosity of John Macleod (and his rehearsal space/magic bag of mics), Sarah Bonell, the ghost of Peter Crisis, and Chris Kong's old Fender amplifier, along with all friends and family, and everyone we have played shows with or who continue to come out, support us and continue to sing their voice.
