about

Tank is the second album by Basketball Knees, Updated Version 2.3

What's new in this update?

-Amye wrote songs on it!
-Stefan joined us on drums!
-The songs are written better and sound better (we think)!
-We won't steal any of your private data!

We wrote the songs from 2016-2018, and recorded and mixed them April-July 2018, mostly at Johnny's but sometimes at our homes.

It is an album about about how you can conquer your fear of deep-sea aquatic life if you confront it head-on...among other things.

credits

released November 3, 2018

Basketball Knees are:

Joel Wheeler: Vocals, Guitar, Bass
Amye Sagar: Vocals, Bass, Guitar
Stefan Dos Santos: Drums

All songs written by Joel or Amye (or both) except 'Marquee Moon' which was written by Joel and Josh Edgar (and Amye and Calvin Tse.)

Engineered, Mixed, Mastered by Joel Wheeler.

Recorded at Johnny Macleod's, Joel's, and Amye's.

Cover art by Amye Sagar

Special thanks and infinite gratitude go to: Johnny Macleod for generously giving us use of his amazing practice/recording space. Sarah Bonell for listening to the mixes so many times she can sing all the songs back to front. Josh Edgar for listening to unfinished songs and mixes and providing invaluable feedback. Nigel Thompson for continued song and life inspiration. Calvin Tse for being an original Knee and for his continued support. Dee for letting us record backing vocals in her basement and Rob for giving us a ride to Peterborough. No thanks to Staples and instead thanks to Sheri for helping us scan the artwork. Thanks to Jimmy's Coffee on McCaul for keeping us caffeinated at practice (if you see this: sponsorship please?), and thanks to the cymbal stand Amye desecrated in the name of ROCK N ROLL.

Finally we would like to thank the three F's: all Family, Friends and Fans we've yet to mention, for their continued support. And as always, keep singing your voice.
